Redwings back in the highest statewide league

After the team´s most succesful season in team franchise history, in which the team finished with a 20-2 record the team was once again able to climb up to the Verbandsliga.
Even though this already sounds like a huge success it isn´t the season´s biggest achievement, because what is more important for the future is that the team grew stronger together and even new players were integrated without any complications.

For example Olo Angnes, who had taken a long break from baseball, where he once played in the 2.Bundesliga, because of which he has also become an important factor on the team. The team is still young and a veteran addition can only help the team. And it already seems to show as some of the younger players have made huge strides and along with the new players the team has a positive outlook on the upcoming season.

Despite this positive outlook the team knows it has a big task to handle as it will be four times the playing time from last year, so it is good the team got some additional players. The team´s goal is to finish the season around 4th or 5th place as to not fall into the bottom of the standings.This season will be the last on the old field and everyone is already looking into 2009 and is hoping to make a strong statement before moving to their new home in Hofheim-Marxheim after the season.
The team will face-off against the Erbach Grasshoppers II, Friedberg Braves, Fulda Blackhorses, Frankfurt 1860, Gießen Busters, Kassel Herkules and the Neu-Anspach Eagles.
