Young team trying to prove itsself in the Juniors league

As last years Landesliga Youth Champions the Redwingsteam decided they wanna stay together as a whole and because some players were too old to play in the Youth league any longer, they are playing in the Juniors league this year. Only 6 of the 16 are already too old for the Youth, so the kids are aware it will be a very difficult season for them, but because they are such a strong team unit they are hoping they can still make an impact and the competition with the older generations will help fasten their development. Opponents will include the Darmstadt Whippets, Neu-Anspach Eagles, Friedberg Braves, Herkules Kassel, Bad Homburg Hornets, Frankfurt 1860 and the Aschaffenburg Mohawks.
Coaches Harsy and Siebers will try to maintain the team´s euphoria from their improbable Play-Off run to the league championship.

Last year´s MVP Justin Müller, along with his fellow All-Stars will again be asked to play a leading role. Rookie of the year Caroline Heislitz will also try to continue her development.
As in all younger teams, fun is the most important element and the team spirit is certainly proof for the effect it has had on the team.
